When u were born....... hmmm, lets not go into details.... all I wud say is, it wasn't easy....

I saw u for the first time in the hands of the doctor, crying. They let me kiss you... then u were whisked away from me. Then, a few minutes and you were lying near me happily sleeping. 

I kept looking at you for God knows how long. Such tiny fingers & such tiny feet and everything so reddish. The doc said the redishniess wud appear on some babies which she quickly added wud disappear soon coz of the concern on my face.

U had hair all over your arms and birth marks all over ur back. You weighed so less that your bum wudn't stay on the bed... You wud always sleep with ur legs turned to ur side. 

That night, the only ppl who slept were you n me.... the others were all too excited to sleep...

My mom didn't sleep the whole night... neither my mother-in-law.... both of them were too scared to put you in the crib, lest you wake up n cry.

One really fantastic & beautiful day.... wud never ever get to hold my first newborn ever again...

n even if I were to have 10 more kids ;), it never never wud be like holding a baby for the very first time.
